Why did I choose to complete a residency?
I chose to do a residency program to broaden my exposure to different clinical areas that I did not have significant time with. Residency programs offer flexibility to create an experience specific to you while also exploring new areas of pharmacy. Additionally, completing a residency program enables you to try new experiences that are not typically available through standard job applications allowing you to excel as a pharmacist.

Why did I choose Mease Countryside Hospital at BayCare?
I chose Mease Countryside because I wanted to be part of a larger healthcare system while working within a smaller hospital. Mease Countryside’s size allows for lasting and meaningful relationships with pharmacists, physicians, nurses, and patients. The hospital also offers a wide variety of experiences that meet my current interests in psychology and critical care. Furthermore, the supportive environment created by employees made me feel valued and as if I was a team member before I even started.
