Why did I choose to complete a residency?
I feel that a residency is an opportunity for me to expand my clinical knowledge and become more confident in applying that knowledge to patient care. Additionally, residency allows me to learn from unique clinical cases and grow into a well-rounded pharmacist that is more capable of working with a diverse patient population.

Why did I choose St. Joseph’s Hospital at BayCare?
I completed several rotations as an APPE student at St. Joseph’s and always felt fully welcomed and supported by the preceptors I had here. I also felt confident that the team’s strengths aligned with my own interests and goals, and that it would be a great learning environment for me to continue my growth as a clinician. Furthermore, as a large institution I felt that I would be able to see a diverse patient population and explore a variety of different specialty areas.
