Heather Strouse, 2017-18 PGY1 Pharmacy Resident from St. Joseph’s Hospital, was selected as one of this year’s PGY1 finalists for the Florida Residency Conference (FRC) Excellence in Research Award. This award program recognizes pharmacy residents for their innovative contribution of original research relevant to health-system pharmacy practice. Each year four PGY1 residents and two PGY2 finalists are selected to present their research at the FRC opening session. On May 17th, 2018 Heather’s presented her research project “Comparison of Weight-Based versus Non-Weight Based Norepinephrine Dosing in Achieving Time to Goal Mean Arterial Pressure in Intensive Care Unit Patients with Septic Shock.”
