Joanna Caranante Invited to Speak for ISMP at ASHP’s Midyear Clinical Meeting

Joanna Caranante, Clinical Coordinator and Residency Program Director at St. Joseph’s Hospital, St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital, and St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital has been invited to speak at the Institute for Safe Medication Practices (ISMP) Symposium at the December 2018 American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Midyear Clinical Meeting.

The symposium is entitled Optimizing Safe Implementation and Use of Smart Infusion Pumps. Joanna will be speaking specifically on the topic: Meeting the Challenges and Maximizing the Opportunities for Smart Pump/EMR Interoperability. Congratulations to Joanna for this achievement as well as being a great leader in promoting safe medication practices.
